Welcome to Felt.Sew.Creative. Before you start shopping, please make sure you read and agree with the following terms and conditions.

Definitions

On this website the following words shall have the following meanings:

“You”, “your” means visitors to and customers of this site

"Customer" means the person who buys Goods from us

"Consumer" shall have the meaning ascribed in section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977

"Goods" means the articles that the Customer agrees to buy from us

"List Price" means the list of prices of the Goods maintained by us as amended from time to time

“I”, “my”, or “me” refers to Felt.Sew.Creative 

"Terms and Conditions" means the terms and conditions of sale set out on this website and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by us.

Contract of sale

No contract will be formed until you have received an email stating that your order status is "Posted" and the item has left my premises. Due to the nature of my business, occasionally items that are shown on the website will not be in stock - in these cases I will email you with your options which may be limited to an immediate refund (refunds take 3-5 working days to get to your account after we have processed them).

Making a purchase

My web store is currently linked to my Etsy Store. Purchases will be made through Etsy. Browse all the products I have on the site by clicking on the different categories down the left of the page. If there is a product you are interested in ordering or knowing more about, click on its picture, which will take you to the item description, and a larger picture of the item.

You will also see the "add to basket" button. At any time you can choose to view and edit the contents of your shopping basket by clicking on the shopping basket icon at the top of the shop page. Once you have completed your order, you can choose the "check out" option, which will take you through the checkout and payment process. You will need an Etsy account to make purchases as you will need to log in to complete the transaction.

Shipping

When you purchase an item from me, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order and a unique order number. When your item has been posted, you will receive an email confirming your purchase has been dispatched.

In the unlikely event that the postage of your item is delayed, I will contact you to inform you of the date on which you can expect delivery. Orders will be dispatched within 5 working days of receipt providing payment has been completed (this will take up to 48 hours).  Delivery will be within the required statutory 28-day period as a maximum.

If you have any special requirements for postage, please contact me at the time of your order and I will be happy to try and meet these requirements.

Pricing & Payment

All prices shown on my website are in GBP (£). The price shown does not include postage, this will be included at the end of your order.  Further details on postage are below.

Payment of the total purchase price (including VAT and any delivery charges) must be made in full before dispatch of the Goods. Payment can be made through the website. 

I cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. I reserve the right to change my terms and conditions and/or product and price information without any notice being given.

Packaging

I make every effort to package your items attractively, safely and securely. Where possible, every item is giftwrapped. It is important that you retain any packaging if you want to make a return.

Postage & Delivery

Postage rates are charged in addition and the rates are shown on each item. If your order is late, please contact me. I can only refund non-deliveries when the parcel is officially classified as lost by the Royal Mail. This is 15 working days after the date of delivery (UK). I will always try my best to make sure you get your items on time.

Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Cancellation & Refunds

Where Goods are purchased via this site, You have the right, in addition to any other rights, to cancel the Goods and receive a refund by informing me in writing or by email within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods. Goods must be returned at your cost and should be adequately insured during the return journey. You shall receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods (including delivery charges, if any) except for return postal charges within 30 days of cancellation.

Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from me on the package, using the template below (optional):

Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Customer's fault you will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.

Wholesale Customers

Wholesale customers are required to register before being given access to the wholesale section of the website. There is a minimum order of £75 plus carriage. Orders over £200 will have free shipping.

Products are subject to minimum order quantities. Payment is required on ordering. No products will be dispatched without payment. Credit accounts are currently unavailable. If you wish to pay by BACS, please contact me with your order requirements and an invoice will be issued to you for payment under the same terms as web orders.

Orders may take up to 6 weeks to dispatch from order date to allow sufficient time to collate. I do not keep a large stock of ready made up items. Large orders may require longer, if this is the case you will be notified.

Please note: Felt.Sew.Creative is not currently VAT registered. This means I am unable to charge VAT and you will not pay VAT on your order. It is against the law for me to charge you VAT as an unregistered business and therefore cannot supply a VAT invoice. You will be issued with a standard invoice stating that VAT has not been charged or paid.

Overseas

I have tried to keep the postage rates as low as possible. In the case where your order qualifies as a parcel, this will be sent by Standard International Mail. Please contact me if you would like your order to be sent via Tracked delivery. Please be aware that this will cost substantially more (between £35 and £55 for most countries).

Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury, however the Seller shall not be liable for any direct loss or damage suffered by the Buyer howsoever caused, as a result of any negligence, breach of contract or otherwise in excess of the price of the Goods.

I shall not be liable under any circumstances to the Buyer or any third party for any indirect or consequential loss of profit, consequential or other economic loss suffered by the Buyer howsoever caused, as a result of any negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise.

Quality

I take great care to accurately describe and photograph each item, but please bear in mind that the images you see will depend on your monitor’s display and colour capabilities.  As each unique item is handmade, the colour, finish and shape may differ from one item to another, particularly those using natural fibres.

I want you to purchase from my website with confidence and in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do.

Security

I understand that your want to shop securely and with confidence. I use an online secure payment service provider (PayPal) to process your card payment. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service. This provider uses state-of-the-art internet solutions to ensure that the personal and sensitive data you provide when making a purchase from me is not compromised and protects against fraud. The security services of this provider are among the most advanced in the country.

Use of my website

All use of my website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within my web pages for commercial purposes without the written consent of Felt.Sew.Creative. You must also not use my website in any way that undermines the credibility of Felt.Sew.Creative.

My returns policy is in addition to your statutory rights and nothing within these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
